Driving is often the favoured method to move around in this town. It is convenient to access a place to park. However, the public transit network in this town is rather poor. Thankfully, homeowners can rely on the Newmarket and East Gwillimbury on the Barrie. Rapid transit stations, such as Davis Dr / Main St, Yonge / Orchard Heights and Yonge / Davis Southbound with access to the Viva Yellow and Viva Blue, are generally within walking distance from the bulk of residences in the town. The town is served by approximately 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties.
